These are the best chocolates ever! I love that they are delicious and low calorie. I personally love the dark chocolates. I love everything from the taste to the packaging. These chocolates are perfect gifts!! Not only are they absolutely pure and delicious, they have a great story behind them to make a gift memorable. The selection by Oprah was dynamite. And the daily packaging make them very wholesome, like taking vitamins. How intriguing!

I love the caramel truffles with Malden Salt the best. The chocolate is smooth and not too sweet, the caramel center is gooey, and the crunchy salt adds the perfect counter balance. At the holidays, I always look forward to the spicy nut brittle. No mere peanut brittle, it is an addictive combination of nuts, including macadamias, pecans, and pistachios, all enclosed in a sweet/salty/spicy/crunchy coating.
I was born and raised in Venezuela, where fine cocoa is abundant. I am not afraid to admit I am a snob when it comes to chocolate. Although chocolate is ubiquitous in America, truly exceptional chocolate is hard to find. I am happy to report my search is over. I am in love with Cacao Cuvee truffles. When it comes to chocolate (or coffee) I prefer it dark and plain, to truly taste the nuances of the different cocoa beans. I have however ventured beyond my comfort zone and was amazed by what I found. Cacao Cuvee truffles perfectly balance fine chocolate with exquisite notes from spices, dry fruits, liquors and even green tea. Only very special people get these as a gift from me. They are almost exclusively for private consumption at home.
